International Patient Expert : Nazanin Faryad

The duties of the IPD expert, which is one of the main components of the Department of International Patients, include :

• Continuous attendance at the International Patient Unit
• Welcoming the international patient upon arrival at the medical institution
• Providing the necessary information to the international patient in the field of services and facilities of the medical institute. Making the necessary arrangements for the admission of the international patient in 
• Inform the IPD physician and treating physician at the time of international patient admission  
• Guidance and introduction of the international patient to the ward of the international patient
• Assistance in translating and communicating the international patient with the medical and nursing staff during the international patient hospitalization
• Carrying out the necessary inter-departmental coordination in the medical institute to facilitate and expedite the provision of services to the international patient
• Evaluate and increase international patient satisfaction while staying at a medical institution
• Take the necessary measures and coordination when discharging an international patient
• Make the necessary arrangements with the company or travel services office
• Registration of international patient information in the Ministry of Health Tourism system
• Coordination with the University Health Tourism Expert
